MORRE Toolbox

The MORRE Toolbox

The MORRE (Memorable, Outreach, Recruitment, Retention, and Engagement) toolbox is a knowledgebase shared among UC Davis ORE Core members and the Diverse-VCID cooperative network's recruitment staff and faculty (curated by UC Davis) that contains notes and worksheets on how to stage and manage recruitment events and track participants enrolling into clinical research studies. Different tools are used at different stages of a participant’s tenure in the research study (i.e., before enrollment [Outreach], being enrolled [Recruitment], in a study [Retention], and veteran research study participant [Engagement]). All MORRE toolbox content is developed to be culturally relevant.

These tools give academic researchers access to local stakeholders, enhances interpretation of research findings through the lens of its participants and local partners, and provides a natural infrastructure for affecting local normative perception of clinical research and university programs. Implementation of these toolbox resources will enhance the engagement of clinical researchers with community partners.
