Brain Health in Diverse America is a podcast hosted by Dr David K. Johnson, a Professor of Clinical Psychology in the Department of Neurology and Director of the UC Davis Alzheimer’s Disease Center in the East Bay. The goal of the podcast is to inform listeners about the latest research on healthy brain aging and risk factors that may lead to cognitive impairment and dementia.  While the scientific community knows that aging affects brain health of Black, Hispanic and European Americans differently, we still don’t know the why or the how this happens. Guests chat with Dr. Johnson about the latest science on healthy aging so that we inform the general public, health care providers and research institutions about the importance of diversity in research.
